Price Adjustment on the Small Plot of Land (Jan. 16)
At the following time, we will be adjusting the price on the small plot of land.

[Date & Time]
Jan. 20, 2014 at around 8:00 p.m. (PST)

Based on the current economy of Eorzea and the sale situation of the land, we will adjust the final price on the small plot of the land down to half of the current settings on all Worlds.

The price will be adjusted gradually where first it will be reduced by 25% on January 20th, 2014 along with the release of the patch 2.15. In an additional adjustment, that is planned to be conducted by late February, the price will be reduced gradually down to 50%.

Furthermore, the final price of land across all Worlds will be announced once it is finalized. Please be advised that the pricing of land on all Worlds will be subject to change even after the above adjustments have been made.

Good new, everyone!

SE realized once they banned the gil buyers and the gil banks that the actual amount of free currency was a lot lower than their initial estimates. Smiley: nod

I just wish they'd adjust the medium and large plot prices, too...

The small plots/houses are just so damn small. I've watched videos online of the interior, and they're just single-room spaces, kind of like large Inn rooms. If they'd had made the small houses a little bit sexier, then more small FCs would be buying them up as opposed to saving for medium-sized houses.

My FC just bought a small house. It looked small until I zoomed the camera in. There's enough room to fit in quite a few things. We're so happy with the house. It has brought our FC closer together. Now we just need some neighbors.

I really, really, really hope that Duty Roulette with a pre-made party of friends is coming in Patch 2.15.

Once there are a couple more in the category, it would be cool if there was a Duty Roulette: Raids too :)

Doesn't this kind of defeat the purpose? The DR was made so people trying to complete less-queued instances could get parties easier and people looking for tomes would have some variety. If you're going to make a full 4-man pt, then just que for what you want.

Damn you people that know how to count! Smiley: grin I read it as wanting to take a group of 4 and hit some random dungeon for bonus tomes, which I think would be nice, but would also undermine the purpose of the DR.

2 should be the max. This ensures that new players are still able to gain a party quickly.

I agree 100 percent..

A friend and I plan on going in as a WHM/PLD duo and relieving some of the DPS pressure if we can.

We do this right now for specific dungeons but then we have to roll our DR dungeons separately. Smiley: frown

I see this making things worse for DPS in the DF, actually.

More people leveling tanks will probably just announce in FC chat if anyone wants to queue up with them, which means people who've already leveled through the game once will take turns going with them as DPS.

Ultimately, the newbie DPS players could be left out in the cold.

I do like this change, but I like it from a more selfish perspective.

The only thing I don't like about the DR is it seems like there are less people trying to form groups to run dungeons, in my FC and /SH groups, since everyone just seems to do their one DR and then move on to other things. As much as I like the DR I have more fun running dungeons with people from my FC then a group of random strangers.

Maybe in 2.2 if they add more HM dungeons they could add a DR for level 50 players that only selects dungeons from the HM's, rewards 40 myth for the first run, and then like an additional 10 myth for each run after, and allowed for people to join with 2, 3 or a full party.

We still group up to do dungeons as a FC if someone needs a clear. Since we're a more casual bunch, that means people are hitting higher dungeons at a staggered rate.

Last night my FC pulled together the resources to clear Dzmael Darkhold so I could get promoted in the GC. (My last four attempts ended in abject failure with DPS who didn't understand how to dodge the death rays on the last boss.) Then one of the DPS started dinkering around, discovered he could get promoted in his FC... and to do so he needed to clear DD again. Whoops! So we'll probably run it once more tonight.

Is this the same dungeon you have to do in the continuation of the story mode on 2.1..
This is a low level dungeon and was wondering why we had to do it again.. If so I just did it, it is a little tricky.
I think you have to redo The Sunken Temple of Qarn which is a little tricky too in the continuation of story mode in 2.1...
