Hi
Im a little stuck, im not sure what i need to do to unlock AK.
I have it in my Relic quest log, but no option in the Duty to find it, do I need to complete certain quests/dungeons frist?

There is a quest you need to take, if I remember correctly it is outside of Walking Sands and (I could be misremembering) I think you need to have completed AV as well.

Per the BG FAQ:
Amdapor Keep - South Shroud (50)
Unlock Condition: Clear Story, then talk to Nedrick Ironheart in Vesper Bay OR Promotion Quest for GC rank 3
So, rank up in your GC until they tell you to go there. If you haven't completed the story yet, try that too.

BG is bad and outdated.
The promotion quest has been moved from AK to AV.
And Nedrick Ironheart does give the quest, but only after you finish the new requirement quest he gives before that of finishing AV first.
So, Finish Story -> Talk to Nedrick Ironheart in Vesper Bay -> Finish Aurum Vale -> Talk to Nedrick Ironheart again -> Amdapor Keep

You cant unlock it through the grand company anymore. Grand Company quest now gives you Aurum Vale. If you complete that or not for your Grand Company, Ironheart will still make you do the quest for Aurum Vale before he lets you take the quest to Amdapoor Keep. It's a pretty hard-coded requirement in his Amdapoor quest.
However, there's nothing stopping you from doing both the Grand Company quest for Aurum Vale, and Ironheart's Aurum Vale quest at the same time.
