Generally when you don't get an automated email, it's because it got moved to your spam folder.

First of all, Welcome to ZAM! I'm glad we'll get the opportunity to help you out.

Okay.

First and foremost, starting multiple threads isn't going to get you an answer faster. While I understand the importance of this issue to you, one thread will suffice rather than the three that have been started. Believe me, the thread will be noticed :)

So, assuming that you did in fact verify that it's not being delivered as spam (which I'm not doubting at all, don't read anything I type that way), are you sure the email attached to your account as the primary email address is the address you're checking? Plenty of people, myself included, of whom myself and the others I've described all working IT and being intelligent and sometimes college-educated individuals of nominal social stature of some kind or another, various age groups, and various levels of maturity in life, both men and women (have I covered all the bases?), have at one point or another had an email attached to an account while checking a different email, either not realizing it or having misspelled the email (the way SE does account registration wouldn't allow this, but as a generality...). It's good to double and triple check spam and that it's the correct account.

If either don't work, perhaps try going to the SE site and manually hitting the reset link.

Lastly, keep in mind we're right on the edge of a maintenance and some unstated systems could be temporarily down for whatever reason. While it may not be plausible, necessary, or even true, it's something to keep in mind.

If all else fails, please call 310-846-0345 for Square Enix Customer Support or submit a ticket here.

Where did you see that your account has a temporary login restriction? Was that a notice on the login screen, or was that inside the email they sent?

How did they ask you to re-activate your account?

I had this happen once, I think I just went to the site and updated my password. Just be sure to have all your info ready, DOB, Answer to secret question , etc etc.

I couldn't remember my answer so I had to do the live chat and the person on the other end was really helpful

While it's an extra step, this is in invaluable tool, too, and it's free. You don't have to spring for the security token (I've gotten 2 in my Final Fantasy lifetime) as the Android/iPhone app is completely free, but it's a good extra security measure as those codes rotate quickly and keep your account safe from phshing and keyloggers.
