While this is pretty funny, it's also crazy informative. I've only done CT twice and as WHM, it's can be challenging to figure out what the exact mechanics are. For example, I didn't know stepping off the pads made the giants spawn, didn't know there was a kill order for skele's/dragon, etc....And of course asking will get you n00booted.
The only thing I don't get at all is the bacon reference to Acheron.
Maybe there should be bingo for every dungeon? Then everyone would know exactly what NOT to do lol

Bacon because the AOE he does towards the end of the fight looks like a bacon lattice on the battlefield :D
I really hate how people fear being "n00booted" for any tiny mistake now.

Dragon strat explanation:
Dragon spawns 3 sets of 2 skeletons at a time,
they must be dragged away from the dragon and spread out from each other, convention is that if dragon is in the center, you pull each skeleton to an outer platform, and no 2 skeletons per platform.
There is also a slightly less popular 'pull the dragon to the north' and kill the skeletons on the far south... i think this is dumb personally because you dont need more time than the center kill strategy, and tanking on the north means lots (more) dead melee who dont realize purple = poison!
THE REASON
When dragon dies, the skeletons are raised and run back to the dragon
If they are alone on a far platform, they will walk to him, giving you time to kill them all
If they are gathered, on the same platform, they will run
If they are close to the dragon, they have a small distance to travel
If they reach the dragon, its big ae dmg. Pretty much 2+ skeletons reaching boss = 90% of the raid is dead.

I know and I was told by several It wasn't a problem and this is the second post today about someone afraid of it on this message board... so it is not just seeing it and there is even a name for it now.
I think the big difference where some dont see it is they play very little DF and just with their FC or they have not made it to end game where this happens more.
Anyway I am done with this subject..
And being a healer I too learned a few things here and why they kill in the order they do..

And true unfortunately.
I know I'd have been able to mark one of those boxes for every CT I've run so far. I especially remember the facerolling bard who'd stick to the front of the pack and auto-run right into the mobs and lock out half the raid from every boss. Only time this guy slowed down was to convert his gear to materia.
Nothing like waving to half the raid from the other side of the barrier while the unfortunate souls endured a quick but painful death since most of the group couldnt participate.

I have found one thing, it's pretty hard to get a bingo sometimes. Tried it out as a drinking game a couple of times, it was a little slow. I could have been dealt a bad hand or a good group, but the biggest amount i've gotten so far has been 5 boxes ticked off randomly all over.
Sure, they're mostly noob mistakes, but i cannot think of anyone tanking the dragon in the middle anymore, or jumping in the lava and accidentally dying because of it. Some of them have such a remote chance of happening, maybe they need to be altered slightly.

If you are using the link from the post above yours, it was updated last night (around 8 CST) with over 60 possible unique entries, so there should be more possibilities now for bingo.
HOWEVER
2 things might have happened here either of which would make me feel like this project was a success.
1. People now know that they are being watched… So they are no longer trolling because no one wants to be responsible for someone else getting bingo lol.
2. OR people actually learned stuff from the reddit thread that they didn’t know before. There are over 250 comments in that thread and while some are what you would expect from reddit, there are more than I thought there would be actually teaching people what they are doing wrong in CT.
If either or both of those things happened then I think everything worked out :D

Is there a possible entry for someone flipping out on alliance chat the first time there's a mistake of any kind? I've run CT twice now, and each time there was "that guy".
Had a run today where our OT and someone from another alliance got locked out of Thanatos or w/e that guys name is. The douchebag who did it said "at least I didn't fall asleep waiting for someone to pull". I asked if it would be faster to have 2 extra people or wait the 3 extra seconds for everyone to show up. No reply.

I have done way to many ct runs LOL this seems to be the biggest problem right now in ct other than the glitch people are using to look everyone out of the one battle field and you have to quit and re que.
Anyway I have seen way to many runs where people are impatient and start before everyone is there.. These people get locked out and probably over half the time it is a wipe.. Wow that really saved us time.

****… I totally forgot I started the FFXIV drinking game. I'll get back to work on that boss… That would an awesome FC event lol.
I've only done CT one time, went in pretty much completely blind, and just had an FC mate rapidly typing instructions to me as we pulled. The only time I messed up was on those trash pulls where the ranged stand on the platforms and the melee go and fight the adds and the hovering cuboid thing. I had a problem picking up my add, but one of the other groups wiped before us anyway so it was immaterial.
Other than that, I didn't die, didn't cause any wipes, and we 1-shot all of the bosses. Maybe I just got lucky with my alliance composition, but I didn't find it that difficult.
