I am gearing my principal job (a drg) with myth gear ... but doing this I am also getting a lot of philo tomes ...
I have already bought almost all the gear from philo for a future job ... and now I do not know what to do with these philo.
I have read that you can buy something that you can sell but what and where ? In Mor Dhona I see only unsellable items ..

Go to Mor Dhona's NPC where you buy DoW/DoM philosophy and mythology gear. She has a tab called "Other" Edit: Apparently it's called "Items". Click on that and you will get a list of materials that you can purchase and sell on the market board.
I personally see more profit in crafting them and selling the finished product that way. However, you can easily make money off of something like peacock ore, animal fat, or potash if you have a steady stream of philosophy tomes. I get most of mine through CT runs.

Actually, right when you click her she offers a list of:
You need the third option, Philo Items, which holds all the crafting items. Since if you use the tab "others", all you get on there is some oil you can use to make your relic complete :/

Just to add to this a bit: Take note of the items listed, then take a look at the auction house. Some of these items can make for a good stable income.... For now anyways.
On my server Peacock Ores and Coke are a good seller.

Potash might be worth looking at too as you need it to make Vanya gear.

Save them if you are building up another job and going to do the relic quest. It takes 900 philosophy tomes to buy the oil for your relic.
It caps at 2000 so eventually you have to spend them. I would get to 2k then buy 9 philo items and either craft or sell them, then get back up to 2000 again.
Is the oil used for the relic quest unique? You could always buy 8 of those and just hold onto them before you start using your Philo tomes to make money.
I want to say for relic it is unique, for relic +1 it isnt since you need 3 to upgrade your weapon, however that costs mytho and no one has extra mytho to throw around on banking +1 weapons quite yet

Yeah, I bought the oil and all 3 mists ahead of time... sitting in inventory waiting for the end of days (titan kill) lol.
I didn't really see any point in pimping out my WHM with i90 gear when I can't get into BC... I guess I could just do that instead... oh well.
