So after a long hiatus due to school, work, holidays, etc., I'm returing to FFXIV.
Was just curious if The Kraken Club is still going strong and if the game is still doing well. I know 2.1 hit recently but I would still like to get a feel of what to expect.

most casual LS's are pretty much dead, however the ZAM free company is alive and well as far as I know (see 'em runnin' all over the place in every zone all the time). You've got a lot of questing to do, and that's not a bad thing. Enjoy your return ^.^

Kraken Club is alive and well... you may need to hit someone up for an invite back if you haven't logged in for a few months. I think they did a roster cleaning because a lot of people quit after their first free month.

I actually logged in for a minute after the update and checked to see if I was still in the FC. Haven't been purged so I'm happy.

We've done a round of removing inactives since the update, so it's possible you've been since removed (think I just did a round last week). If so, just send any of us a tell and we'll invite you back. Also, feel free to sign up on the forums if you haven't yet. We post events up there all the time. Link is in my sig.
