Onion Gear is making me sad... :: World of Warcraft

Seriously some of i80 gear is awesome for the secondary stats example: Onion Sarouel's 25 str, 30 crit, 21 acc, 27 vit

That is mouthwatering...oh but wait I already have the i90 piece which has 29 str, 34 acc, 17 det and 27 vit. I'd have to take a loss on 2 primary stats...I can't do it.

Which leads me to why I'm sad...the Onion gear most pieces have both of our secondary stats on it as opposed to 1 for the i90 gear. Which makes the Onion gear so much more fun to have but not really worth it as you can't afford the -4 primary stat loss (not to mention the loss of HP due to Vit)

I don't think that gear was really so much for the people who have item level 90 gear already. It's more for the folks who are gearing up and are not quite in all i90 gear yet to have an easier ramp up while spending fewer tomes for it.

Farm them for the vanity set if you really want, but otherwise if you're in anything better than DL just skip it if you don't want the armor style.

I know its not for i90 people what i'm sad about is that the pieces have all the "good" stats on them where as the hard to get allagan and AF2 most pieces only have 1 of the "good" stats on them

Thing that makes be the saddest is that the ilvl80 gear looks so much better (on monk anyway) than the ilvl90 stuff. Got the monk body on my first CT run, and I love the look, going to be sad when I have to replace it with ilvl90 gear.
