A huge weekend for everyone with all the new options available.
I followed Hairspray's thread (you rock man!). In no particular order:
- Hildibrand Quest Line (was entertaining after all)
- Beast Tribe Quests (specifically working on the Drake Mount!)
- Story mode up to Sunken Temple (what is a level 35 dungeon doing in this questline!?)
- Unlocked Garuda EX
- Battled through Crystal Tower a couple times (got the WHM boots, this dungeon/raid is super fun! Team C FTW! lol)
- Ultima, Ultima, Ultima! (ran this trail about 30 times so far, getting really good at it!)
- Pharos
- Copperbell
- Huakke Manor
So ya I played a lot. Wanted to see each of the thing. Still got more quests to do for unlocking King Moogle!

Sure was fun... Most fun I've had playing in a long time! I maxxed out my 450 Myth tomes, ran a ton of Duty-Roulette's and some normal WP runs too...
Got my item level up to 70 last night... so I'm actually getting there...
A bunch of folks from the FC ran me through Hydra last night so I'm closing in on my relic too...

Didn't get as much play time this weekend as I had hoped. Spent too much time visiting people.
Finally finished Stone Vigil. Now I'm stuck on Isles of Umbra solo fight against Siren.

Got WHM from high 47 to mid 48.
Beat Garuda finally so now advancing the story line again.
Did my dailys. It's like leaving EXP on the table not doing them.
Upgraded my long overdue level 38 gear to 45+. (Didn't want to spend the money)
That was about it.

Had family staying with us, so I didn't get much game time in.
Managed to get FSH 26-29 relying solely on controller rumble to know when to hook the line while still holding a conversation. :-p

I'm on break so had a lot of time since 2.1 dropped. Unlocked all of the new stuff, except for the Guildhests part of the story quests. Haven't done any maps, beastmen dailies, CT, haukke HM or pharos, though, because I've been too into everything else.
-WAR 23->37 via dungeoning + roulette only. Got almost the full Cavalry set from Brayflox, and my buddy got full Battlemage set on his WHM. We've been rocking these dungeons with fellow rouletter's and newbies alike. It's rather hard to wipe with both a competent (also patient) Tank and Healer combo.
-Did Titan HM with Duty Finder, and I didn't die until he had like 5% health. Amazing night. The victory was so clutch, on our last attempt, with a SMN limit at the end and many people dead; the group was awesome and had a great attitude. Next day I ran Titan HM with a Linkshell (Primal Warfare) and I lived the entire way through. Got my Bow of Crags too!
-Attempted and HQ'd my first Gryphonskin ring for a FC mate, and my second ring for myself. Even HQ'd the second 40 durability Hard hippogryph leather I made.
Other than leveling up my WAR, which has been great fun with the job and exp buffs, I've been doing roulette for phil and myth tomes. Didn't reach cap, but I didn't need to for this past weekend to be great.

I managed to take blacksmith from 30-50 over the weekend. I almost ran out of leves at one point and had to grind out all of level 58 with mythril ore, but I eventually made it. Only armorer is left for DoH now.
Got a Thick Chain Coif from Copperbell HM, an Onion Armor chest piece from CT, and enough points to buy Wyrm Greaves, and Darklight Tassets. I also melded a Savage Aim III and Savage Might III materia into my HQ Rubillite rings. Also, made about 100k gil, most of which I lost trying to add the second materia to the rings. Six breaks in a row sucks...
Ran CT 3x with getting a drop in the 1st run (BRD hands). I stayed to help out the other people I was grouped up with as they didn't get any drops.
Caught up Class quest for my v1 char to 35.
Lv 35-37 v1 char (BRD :O).
Ran Toto-Rak on v1 for story progression, it's going faster when your are only doing the main story line. Should be on the Garuda story line by the time it's caught up.

Was a mixed bag this weekend:
Leveled THM 1-25
Crafted/bought the remaining i70 pieces for Warrior and Paladin (axe/shield). Need it as a stopgap piece of gear before relic. My FC is a group of friends from XI so we wana run the relic questline together, just waiting for one member to come back as her internet has gone down XD.
Capped myth using a combo of WP (down to 25mins now, getting there) and the duty roulettes.
Finished Copperbell hard (more of a dps check than actually hard).
And then Sunday evening came around, my FC was empty due to Xmas work parties etc, so I spent my time doing.......not a lot.

Did my first 3 runs of Crystal Tower this weekend. It is both fun, and frustrating.
I realize that a lot of people are still learning, but I can't stand how much waiting around happens in CT. I really don't think 24-man content was necessary.
Also got Paladin from 31 to 37. Not as fun as it was leveling Warrior, but it still feels way more interesting than playing a DPS class.
