At least for some stuff which is easier to complete.

This may sound silly, but it's actually something that worked decently in DCUO...

If you don't have a healer, everyone gets a nice "Regen" buff

If you don't have a tank, everyone gets a defense bonus...

If you don't have a dps everyone gets a damage bonus... etc.

It would make for faster queues for dungeons that nobody will want to do anymore like WP and AK once the majority of players have moved beyond level 70 Item level so that newer players can get leveled up in gear too.

Or do you think Duty Roulette will be enough to keep the party queues popping fast enough for that?

I dont see people moving on from WP honestly.

AK is still slower/longer
Pharos is slower / longer/ WAY HARDER for only 10 more mytho ( i can run 2-3 WP in the time of 1 pharos)

Honestly I do 1 HL duty roulette, and 1 wp a day to cap my mytho now. Then i go do daily beast men if i have time.

Hard mode Haukke Manor, on the other hand, is almost as easy as WP for 10 more Myth, once you know the mechanics.

The BGM is also way more enjoyable (to me).

Copperbell and Haukke are 50 myth.

That's just 20 less than you get from Roulette 40 + a WP pop 30.

So you have to run WP twice (30+30) for 10 more than you get for simply running Copperbell or Haukke (without Roulette).

Sometimes you can Roulette (+40) for a Sirius/Copperbell/Haukke pop (+50) for a total of 90 Myth!

I think both ideas would be relatively equal. DF currently gives bonuses to lacking roles to promote players to switch classes.

I hope not. That sort of thing usually just waters down the game and eliminates any challenge.

I don't think so. Like, Almalieque said, you get a personal bonus for being a job that is in need. Plus, Final Fantasy has been a game of jobs. You have to have a Healer, Mage, Damage and or Tank types, otherwise its not a real Final Fantasy game. I don't see them breaking that mold, ever, to be honest.

It is a good alternative though.

The only way to get around it, is to form a pre-made party, and enter the dungeon that way.

Its personal preference and all, but yes we need to educate WoW players that this is OUR game, these are Characters and not Toons. Time to beat that into them one at a time.
