Haha, was hoping to sell off the tons of 1.0 versions I had if they offered something different this year since people on my server bought up the old Kabuto stuff for crazy amounts of gil lol.

it sucks magic don't work on the fire but I'm still getting drops. If it wasn't crowded I'd die quickly.

It's not a quest. Do the new Fate in one of the 3 starting zones and collect the item. Kinda like the swimsuit event.

*edit* Fate's called "Stay Frosty" And I'v heard it pops just about anywhere.

I saw one today out east of Camp Drybone. I think the name was the same, although the actual FATE itself was a tad confusing.

The object in that one is to stand near an imp that the holiday treant is targeting. When you see a red AoE circle, stand in it and you'll get some snow armor. With that effect on, you can start killing imps without them being invulnerable. Keep in mind that you will have to refresh your snow armor every half-minute or so.

The Xmas fate in Coerthas is insane.I did It once with a large group on the 2nd day, healing the tree while Carby had snow armor got me 30 crystals fast . People stay away from it now. It ends at the 10 minute mark every time. I thought people was doing the quest every time till I started going there. Those imps are torching the tree and anyone else in the area in about 4mins. It's funny, after 3 tries I went back to a safe 3 crystal Fate with no danger.
