Mod, There is a relevant point to FFXIV, so don't delete it.

My hidden agenda is to tell everyone how mad I am about Ni No Kuni's Wizard's Edition getting screwed up for so many people. I also want to tell people how great a game it is and if you have not heard of it, have not played it yet, or think it will be to childish.... It may be childish but it is by far one of the best RPG games I have played in years. I'm 28 and I think the story is great. Anyway all of you should give it a try.

Now to my alternate reason for posting. The Ni No Kuni Wizard's Edition came with a sweet Plushie of the main (one of the main) character. My question is, why has SE never done this before? I want a Chocobo, Carbuncle, Mog, something in the form of a plushie and I want SE to give it to me, not buy it for a crazy price on Amazon or Ebay.

What are the chances we get a Plushie, and furthermore, what are we going to get period? Also, for those who will get the game free, what do we have to do to convince SE that we need a small credit if we decide to go buy another physical copy of the game, especially if the CE has something sweet that we all want like a Plushie... lol

Never even heard of this game; at first glance appears to be involved with Studio Ghibli? Looks pretty neat.

You can buy FF plushies separately; not sure why they don't box them with the CE, now that you mention it.

At least they could add a coupon for a free one in the CE. That way you could pick the one you like best Smiley: wink I'd much rather have that than a toxic mug you can't drink from any day.

As for Ni No Kuni, it's definitely worth noting if you have a PS3 and an interest in Japanese anime. It was created with the help of Japanese anime... well... animators. It's literally like experiencing an anime world come-to-life, which is no small feat.

Link to it, right HERE and kachi, you're pretty much right.

Also, a voucher would be nice too. Then they can save of shipping costs for the game and force us to use the SE store.

I can't believe this flew under your radar, might be one of the games of the year. I have it but I haven't started it yet (that opinion is from general internet chatter), I'm participating in Four in February, a kind of initiative to get off your *** and play 4 games in your collection you haven't beaten yet.

Oh Boy!! if this game turns out to be on par with any of the animes' the studio has produced then it will most definatley be an allstar.

P.s. does Studio Ghibli have any new anime features in the works that anyone knows of becuase i just love the uniqueness they hold with the stories and oddities of imagination inspired creatures and events.

Awesom, Wint. One day a week I play an old game or a game I have yet to beat. I am currently on Disc 3 of FFVIII and then will continue with Metal Gear Solid 2, I beat FFIX and MGS over the last few months. Its a good way to remember where you came from and how much fun some of the older games were and are. I also went out and got the MGS HD collection for MGS 2, 3, and Peace Walker.

Back on Topic, Studio Ghibli has THIS coming out.

And even more back on topic, Ni No Kuni on the PS3 will be one of the games that will always have a high resale value and has the potential to start a new trend or comparison game for future JRPGs. Also, this game and the way it is selling, Amazon has a 3week wait time which is very uncommon... the way its selling will show Sony and Developers that we want JRPGs and we want good quality RPGs and Games on our markets. To many games have been trash, rinse and repeat, copy paste designs, FFXIV was one of them. I think we might start seeing some quality stuff soon.

As for the Wizard's Edition, the book that comes with it is what I was/am after. Its a replica of the in game book with tons of info and its not a strategy guide either. Ebay has these collections going for $400+ a pop because they were super limited and even more so when Namco/Bandi screwed the pre-orders up.

MGS 2 was one of those games I watched, rather than played myself. About 3/4 of the way through it suddenly becomes the Greatest Video Game Ever Made. Smiley: lol You should enjoy it a lot.

My radar has pretty much been off lately. I never have time to play games, and have a huge backlog (Four in Feb sounds like it was made just for me, but I'll never be able to do it). Plus, what few RPGs we've seen in the last several years have largely been a bunch of tripe.

I agree that it's a game better watched than played. The whole thing about it becoming one of the Greatest video games ever made.... I could stand to live without the visual they gave us of Raiden when he was running through ******* Gear...

When I first played that segment I was a little scared and disturbed. Then I started laughing at all the naked fun I was having walking behind guards, then I proceeded to do hundreds of Naked Cartwheel Flip things. Very disturbing moment in gaming if you ask me.

Doesn't have to be RPG's Kachi. I'm sure everyone here has a stack of games from Steam sales that they haven't even installed yet Smiley: nod

I guess I'm kind of a luddite then, because I've never downloaded from Steam. My backlog is mostly RPGs... and those are mostly the games I want to play, with a few notable exceptions. I'm pretty sure if I even picked the shortest games in my library to beat, my life would go down the toilet so fast.

Really? Steam has some great sales around the holidays. My problem is I never have time to play them. I didn't buy a single thing this year because my collection is getting ridiculous.

I only JUST got steam. On that, its not even mine, I am using my dad's login data and his account. I just wanted to play Left 4 Dead, now I find out I have all his other games too. Such a sweet bonus. Anyways, if I didn't do that or hope to one day buy the Original Monkey Island and Space Quest games, I wouldn't even care about steam... I suppose that's because I play the PS3 when I wasn't playing FFXIV.

I don't even think I've purchased a game for myself other than GW2 since Steam became popular. Such is the state of things in my life. It's quite tragic.

I reached a point long ago where I enjoyed game design more than actually playing games.
