I think the saying "No accounting for taste" also applies to video games.
Hell, some people actually liked Duke Nukem Forever.
I like Square Enix's games because they know how to tell a **** good story. What's wrong with that? My Wings of the Goddess static is finally about to finish up the Windy (S) missions, and we got so much sad eye candy between Darkness Descends and Manifest Destiny that I dreamed about it last night.
That doesn't make me a fan girl. It just means I look for different things in video games than someone who likes, say, strategic combat.
