im also excited for this! but.... let me ask this, i had my account linked with FFXI and all that, had the legacy badge in top left of character screen, but.... i stopped playing before end of era and all that happen, do i still get to keep my legacy status? im just concerned that i wont be able to get into beta, like i was unable to get into Alpha.. i seem to have have bad luck when it comes to beta testing applications haha... ; ;

How to tell if you're legacy:

Log in to your SE account. Click Select service on the left at the bottom, then pick Final Fantasy XIV. If you have this icon next to the buttons labeled Options List and Cancel Service, you're a legacy member:

I'm sure legacy members will still have to apply, or maybe not, who knows how they'll do it. Hopefully we'll know more by tomorrow.

I'm translating posts from the JP official forum, and so are others, it would seem even the devs acknowledge those with Legacy are automatically in phase 1. Though you still get those people random people on the forums that act like SE rep know it alls and say legacy have to apply also with no info to back it up, so theres a lot of misinformation running wild.

What I know I can't find an answer to is if lagacy will be in anything but phase 1.
