Logitech made a really neat controller for PS2 that I used the entire time I played FFXI. It was basically a stretched out PS2 controller with a laptop-sized keyboard in the middle of it. I won't say it was the ultimate answer, but it was really easy to use. I'm really hoping there's something like it available for PS3 when FFXIV releases.

I used to have that one, I still have the keyboard from it as a matter of fact. Loved that one. Won't any bluetooth keyboard work for the PS3?
I have two of these (and there was another that I had to throw out when it broke). I thought they were fantastic. There was a similar product for GameCube or DreamCast (forget which), but nothing since. I whine about it all the time, but I really wish someone would make a similar product for the PC.
The Logitech ones did have a couple of problems though. The buttons and joysticks were a bit iffy and had a tendency to get stuck. Funnily, mine always had trouble with the "s" key, so I ended up talking like a @#%^ing snake half the time.
