The Grand Company quest NPCs are apparently handing out 5,000 seal bonuses today when you select "Small Talk." (All three, if you haven't signed up with one permanently yet.)
I thought Foundation Day was over a month ago, but I'm not going to complain.
Edit: Nevermind, seems I finally got caught up on the Grand Company quests enough to receive this bonus. Nice to know it was still available.

Only a one time payment, though, right?
I went and got the extra seals and left the room , when I went back, they were gone. You have to spend them in the room before you leave it or you lose the seals ^^

It appears you are right.... which sucks, because in the quest line you get them before you're allowed to spend any big money.
