Garuda isn't the must punishing fight in the game. Ifrit Extreme is.

If this fight is harder than that... I don't see many people defeating it before the servers close. Probably why it's going to be available in A Realm Reborn.

Obviously, Ifrit isn't.

Rivenroad Hard requires you to use lunar curtains to survive megaflare. Where do you get these? You farm them in Rivenroad Hard of course! All you need to do is survive megaflare!

They drop from the Lunar Fragments/Golems when he's doing Megaflare at the beginning.

I read that they drop from them AFTER megaflare phase. During that first minute, fragments don't turn into golems and we got a 0% drop rate from lunar fragments in the beginning. We ran it 10 times and only the pld was able to survive megaflare with sentinel, and once was able to raise a whm, who died quickly after.

Basically, you need to super buff people, go as classes, use sentinal and every other buff, hope to live, and then chain raise everyone. At least, this is the only thing we came up with...

We plan to farm some Overspctaled crystals and use them to buff as well, they might help.

Wait what ? In order to survive the fight, or for to be even beatable, you have to survive a spell then in the next phase farm an item ? but in order to survive that spell you must have said item or go way out of your way to even make it possible ?

SE...... They just keep on giving.

It is meant to be the hardest thing anyone has faced yet...

But it's possible to survive with sentinel, so the goal would be to survive and farm, then try again for the win.

It's not that hard to survive by using the classes + sentinel + Battle voice and muscle whatever, that item that increases max HP. Heck, just using Thaumaturges to survive (sentinel + sanguine rite) and then raise already helps a bit.
