How to get an Item in the AH? :: World of Warcraft

I just started playing this beaut of a game yesterday but have been wanting to sell a bronze gladius on the AH.

I got my retainer, he's in a market ward, he has more gil then the price and he has the item in his bazaar...I don't get why it's not showing up when I go to the U'ldah Mercantile house! I've been trying different things and searching forums for about 5 hours now!

Please help! It'd be very much appreciated :))

EDIT: This is said no where in the guides but
YOU MUST WAIT A BIT, IT SHOWS UP AFTER ABOUT 10 MINUTES OR SO

This happened to me a couple of times this weekend since I'm only crafting and selling when I log on. The Uldah wards keep having mini crashes too ,with all the new people coming back it's only getting worse.

Sounds like a lag issue. When I buy something direct from the search menu the whole area reloads. If I go into the wards (and avoid the tax) it's not an issue.
