Hurry back in! Oh, and if you are in Durandal I have 2 retainer slots for sale in tradescraft. 10 mil each!
The sad part was they took my items down till i called my retainers again.It was hard to find a single ward both my retainer can stand in again ,Uldah wards are packed tight.
Damnit! Right after I went to bed too! SOB!

You do realize that even if wards are full that there's a better way than paying for retainer slots/stalls.... You go to the summoning bell and then place your retainer in the ward of the city you choose...

Who needs them anymore, now that we have search?...... I think it's something to do with cheapness you pay a tax when you buy through search. I think we all choose is it worth walking to get the item (cheap) or just buy it. I craft mostly in the wards now and i see a lot of walkers.

Bell's are usually useless for me, under the circumstance that i have a large amount of stuff to sell from mining and BSM respectively. And considering the fact that stuff i sell in Ul'dah sells in 2h's, while it takes around a week in the other 2 wards does not make this any easier to swallow.

You go to a bell, summon your retainer, and use the bell to return your retainer to any ward of any city you want. It will force your retainer into full wards, every once and a while it doesn't but a quick retry usually works for me. Best of all, you don't lose gil and time by doing the stall trick.
IMO though hopefully these issues prove once and for all to SE that retainers need to go and we need a proper AH.

I wish i had the courage to try the bells , I keep a side by side setup by exits inside wards for quick crafting and selling. The bells always banished my retainers back to Gridania, my home city.Is there somewhere in the menu you get to choose where retainer go.I haven't used bells since before the game became pay to play.
yes you pick the city and the specific sub-area in each ward.
