I want to make a character on Durandal but the servers full. How long do you all think it'll be before we can make characters on the servers that are full?
The reason is that I want to join a specific linkshell. Any knowledge is appreciated. Thanks!

Isn't 1 thread enough? And to answer your question, we don't know. Most of us aren't really worried about making new characters yet. We have plenty to do on our first one. Most likely after 2.0 hits.
