Just bought the game!Follow

Hello there,

I played FFXIV on beta, and well I liked it but coudn't play and MMO at the time. Now a year or so later, I finaly have free time on my hands and decided to buy it today.

The thing is, I bought it from the Square Enix online store as a Download PC. It went well received the e-mail with the CD-key and such. But the e-mail had instructions on downloading it on Stream. But the thing is, Stream doesn't support FFXIV and i can't input the CD-key there and download the game. It gives me and "invalid cd-key" error.

So, is there any other way of downloading the game? Trying a torrent here, but not sure if it will work. Alredy registered the game on my SE account, and sent them and e-mail asking for help on the matter. But since I want to play it so bad, I am also asking out here, which should be faster ^^

Anyway thanks in advance for the help.

PS: Oh and sorry if the english is bad, not my native language ^^

PS2: Any hints on servers I should pick for a fresh start?

As you said, Steam doesn't have FFXIV, which is why I found it strange. The CD-key does work, alredy registered it at the SE account. But I did not receive any download link. So if they have their own download server....I'm kinda worried now.

Inside my SE account, is there a way for me to download the game? Haven't found that.

Oh man, I'm ashamed now.

Well when you said about their own download server I looked at the e-mail again. And found a site in there findmyorder.com. At first I tought it was only to locate the order, if it was shipped, so I didn't give it any matter,since I saw the "download guide" at the end, the Steam one.

But when I entered the site, and placed my order number there, the Square-Enix site with the download button showed up.

I'm relieved now, even tough I feel pretty stupid.
