TP and AlternativesFollow

TP in FFXI always kinda seemed a bit too restrictive. In essence it was the 'limit break' for each character. But it left mages with basically nothing good (until either high end skills or quested ones), and very difficult to build up for those attacks when playing 'properly.'

What changes would you like to see?

Personally I'd LOVE to have a system closer to FFX where you could customize how your character gained TP (or overdrive points w/e). I'm not sure on whether the player should be able to choose what mode to be in, or if it comes set with each job. I'm leaning toward choosing simply because i feel this would allow more customization.

what are your thoughts?
