HEY! I was just wondering, since all these people are like "I want more customizing options!", I was just wondering, if they did improve the customization options, how your charactor would look.
Here's how you can:
1) Draw a picture of your customized "dream charactor"
2) Scan/take pic of sketch and upload to photobucket.
3) Copy-paste link, and show the world!
Emm... Maybe we can make it a contest? Just for fun? Voting?

Spiderpalm, level 32 Undead Warlock of the server Lightbringer.
I'd stick to my taru's origional look with only two big differences.
1. since I go by the name "Kittsune" ( gonna shoot for Kitsune, the proper way to say Fox in Japanese in the new game ), I want to use the eyes you see every now and then, where they seem to be squinting the entire time.

^ That's the facial expression I'd like to see, of course they do open their eyes from time to time, but you'll see me with that look in most of the cases.
I'd also have a longer pony tail, not that stubbed one they gave my character in FFXI.

I can't draw, but I'd like my Galka's arms tattooed like the Igqira Weskit.

I think PS3's Little Big Planet has revolutionized the way to customize your character. In case you haven't played it, the purpose of the game is to run through the levels gathering stickers, costumes, and objects, which all can be used to customize your sackboy, and build your own magical level. Using objects and stickers, I made my sackboy look like a Teenage Mutanta Ninja Turtle (Donatello). I've seen Little Batman/Scorpion/Subzero/Superman/etc. The possibilities are infinite.
Soul Calibur IV also had a fairly good way to customize your fighter, allowing you to change everything from color to voice pitch/style. I'd like the option of getting a haircut after the intial setup. That was one thing that bothered me about FFXI...no barber/hairstylist to be found in all of Vana'diel.
I'm not saying that SE should make it like LBP, but they could learn from it. Just a thought.

I can draw, but refuse, loool.
Not sure about race (manthras?) but probably be long hair with or without man-ponytail or braid, with heavy armor-parts with cloth accents. It wouldn't really be that much different in concept from your normal JRPG character. But I'd make it mine.

I really do agree, TheJollyJokers.
I love how Soul Calibur IV's options give you the option to recreate, or create, virtually any human-like object in the world, making it so that almost no charactor is exactly the same (unless they're both going for max boost, max power, etc.).

A Male Mithra Geomancer. Which I want now!!! But anyway, since there were 4 different Geomancer designs, I mixed and matched them. The hat and pants were from FFV (Lenna/Galuf) as well as the scarf (Faris), the body gear was from FFIII DS, the hands were from FFTA2, and the feet were a combination of the male and female's GEO's boots from FFT.
