I love the interface for the FFXIV forum! The white makes it easier to see colored text, and the graphics are pretty good looking.

I'll be honest, I think it's @#%^ing gorgeous. I used to only use the www.Allakhazam.com skin because I felt that was the most elegant, but I quickly changed to this one once I saw it.
It is just so.....

On the topic of Black Mage in XIV:
They summon fireballs and fart lightning. From their eyes.
Even thinking about them makes enemies explode.
Having one in your PT is like a free ticket to defeat Absolute Virtue.
That's the reason why only one of them is allowed in PvP. Per server.
Imagine a cross-breed between Allakhazam and Sun Zu. That's a Black Mages's toenail.

I'm glad you like it IzaacPaul! I still find it blindingly white and can't wait for a dark skin, but I do love the cleaner layout for sure!

Yeah, while the layout doesn't bother me, I've just grown fond of light text over darker backgrounds over the years. Easier on the eyes, I think.
It's like staring into a lightbulb.
Layout seems fine so far, but it'll be hard to tell really how efficient it is until there's more content.

Not at all. I think it's a great idea.

I like the layout as well and I must say the color scheme isn't bad either. That being said I also can't wait for a darker version theme.
I might just be nit picking here, but something I'd like seen added is a logout button at the top some where instead of having to click my name and then logging out.

Perhaps I'm simply blind, but I can't seem to find the display filter in the new layout. I have to swap back to Wow.allakhazam.com template whenever I wish to change my view settings.

it does look nice.
of course it does-- the art is beautiful. it's good when there's daylight coming in. but at night it is a bit harsh.

That's actually a bug, I'll put in a ticket for that.
