With all the talk of WoW instanced dungeons and such i just wanted to say that i think a nyzul isle like system would be the sort of thing i would like to see as part of the grind, its alot harder to get bored of something that is different and challenging everytime you enter. It really allows the different jobs to shine in the various situations and though the bad part was the drop rate of the bosses i do think thats how it should be as a endgame activity else i would have gotten all the drops a long time ago and thus probbably not bothered to keep going back to have fun there. What would be nice though is more varied Scenery/powerups/map shapes and more possible scenarios and bosses. Sometimes in ffxi lvling just takes sooo long and for the most part you just play your fixed role over and over which becomes tidious and though i dont want a system of lvling that is easy or fast i want a system that is challenging, fun and varied.
Feel free comment and share your own ideas about how to make the grind less grinding :o? sure SE probbably have already made their decision on how the game will be but atleast if they are looking it might help stimulate some ideas to push them in the right direction after FFXIV is launched.
(Just to clarify i know there are no levels but to hone your characters weapons and skills its likely there will be ways in which to collects skill points or ability points or w/e they want to call it and thus creating some form of grind)
