I'm very happy to announce that our first hire into the new FFXIV team is none other than Elmer the Pointy, who I'm sure many of you already know from JPButton.com. He was formerly known as CactuarSensei on the Allakhazam site, but will be working for Zam under the name of Elmer.

I'm pretty sure the front page is locked, but what type of content were you going to add? I'll have to talk to our Senior Wikibase Editor to see what's the best layout to use.

I put some basic information that's been collected so far. I think the categories are set up in a way that it will give good opportunity to link to other pages once more information is known. It's pretty raw right now, I figure if there's a few categories and a little info maybe people will feel easier to go in and just add a few tidbits when they find them, etc.

Cool, thank you! Our hope is that people will venture into our wikibase from the start to get more comfortable with using it early on. The main page will likely change over to a portal to different sections later, but I liked what you put up as a start.

Hey, everyone. Thanks for the welcome and the encouragement. I was burning the midnight oil with Pikko to get my first big article up, so I just got around to checking out this thread.
