Increasing memory / speed / graphics?Follow

Is there a way to devote more of your memory to running Free Realms? I am using XP so I've already maxed out the amount of ram I can physically put in the tower; FR is still running painfully slow unless I'm on the lowest possible graphics settings. This is very strange to me, since while this isn't the newest machine I can run WoW / CoH / Sims 2 great, so my 3D card should be more than enough for FR. Does anybody know any tricks or tweaks to your PC to run it a bit better? Is Firefox the best program to launch from? I can't wait for the PS3 version this summer so I won't have to deal with this anymore lol.

You can increase your virtual memory in your system settings, otherwise, make sure you have minimal background processes running. Also is it possible that it's your video card? I originally had to upgrade my video card just to be able to run FR smoothly (had been using a 256MB, upgraded to a 1GB video card).

Yes i know wat is you problem. if you want to increse you performance be sure you Shadow is not on hight, Shadow settup is eat a lot of video memory, I have 2 giga or ram and 1 giga video memory, my setting is on hight but shadow is on the half
