Ranged attack skills :: World of Warcraft

I haven't played FR in several months and I was wondering where are the ranged attack skills Ninjas and Brawlers used to have (Shuriken Toss and Rock Throw)? Are they removed or do need a particular item now to use them?
The play style of these jobs seems to have changed alot.

They actually just completely revamped the combat system a little over a week ago now.

The ranged attacks are indeed gone. Jobs now have innate traits, and your weapon itself has abilities: a normal attack and a "super attack". Both types of attacks will normally hit every mob within your front arc.

I don't believe any weapons have the old ranged attacks, though I admit I haven't checked out the new Coin Shop and Marketplace weapons yet.

Well that explains why I couldn't find anything about those abilites no longer being in game if it was only changed a little while ago. And I'd seen the abilities in the weapons now which prompted me to ask if there were items that granted those ranged skills.
Its a pity in my opinion, the jobs just feel a bit homogenized now, especially with the power ups that drop in the dungeons. It battles seem a bit band now.

Heh, the battles now make me think that I'm being zerged. I'm not thrilled with the new combat, either, but I rarely go out and fight so I'm somewhat apathetic about the whole thing.

I hope that at some point they add ranged attacks back in.

Yeah the 1st little instance I did was on archer which I'd never had access to before. I saw these large tightly clustered groups and I thought I'd walked into one that was for higher level even though I'd seen it was 1 dot difficulty then I hit the AoE and the mobs went down fast. It was cool but I missed how it was when I started my ninja when FR went live with the little groups of 2 or 3 I'd pull with the throwing stars then ahck them apart and move on to the next little group. lol

Hehe. :) They claim you can attack on the move more this way, but it's nothing like kiting mobs around with those Shrukiens.
