Hi I just started playing Warhammer after a very long break from playing MMOs.

So far I love the game and I will continue to play for quite a while unless something changes drastic that pushes me away.

Anyway I have rolled a Zealot and I love this class so far. In the past I have only played DPS characters or tanks types for the most part. When I did play a healer I usually tried to play it as a hybrid dps-healer.

For this guy I have focusing only on Healing/Buffing/Debuffing in that order while in RvR or scenario PvP. I am having a blast and I am getting better at my role.

However I really don't like the targeting system in place for healing friendlies. The function keys are ok however I dislike how f1 is myself and then if I am placed 4th in the group list then f4 also targets myself. I changed the hot key to cycle through friendlies however this targets friendly NPC's and pets as well as players.

Is there a way to target friendly players only?

Even better is there a way to target only group members by cycling through them with one button?

If anyone know of any mods or setups that might help me with targeting and healing I would be very grateful. Thanks.

The best thing I can recommend for making healing easier is the Squared addon. It shows your entire warband in a convenient UI. You're still tied to the mouse for targeting, but it allows you to instantly select anyone in the warband. I've found that it makes healing drastically easier.

A better UI would help thank you for the suggestion.

I have noticed (or at least it seems) that the default UI does not show me when someone is losing dmg very well. Sometimes it shows them almost dead and when I select them they have like 75% hp. Just seems to report hp wrong a lot.

An easier to see UI would help a lot.

I would make sure to set your 'target nearest friendly' and your 'cycle through nearest friendly' keys somewhere convenient. It helps a ton for healing out of group.

Welcome to War. What server are you playing on?

Hm, I play a DoK, so I'm into healing. I've noticed, that since the latest update the interface showing groupmates health is buggy, sometimes you see that they are continuously dead, sometimes absolutely healthy, sometimes distant, when they're not. Unfortunately, Squared uses the same interface, so it doesn't help overriding the bug. Still, it's extremely useful, even better with SquaredHealBot.
