So whats with this Guild Tax and how does it work really?
My current guild is ranked 38 and has a guild tax of 50%

Im asking this question cause when people loot, im basically losing 1 or 2 brass coins per loot. I never thought i would be losing money doing something.
What gives

is 50% tax too high or what?

Seems high, but might be necessary. The money drains out of guild coffers pretty quick if you start claiming multiple keeps. If your guild is NOT claiming keeps, you might want to ask what your guild taxes are for. Seems most guilds turn the tax on and off as necessary to maintain solvency.

Edit to add that 'cash' from looting is a pretty trivial amount anyways - and not likely sufficient in and of itself to support a character. Smiley: wink

I guess youre right, since money doesnt really mean that much in this game

How much does it cost to maintain a keep anyways?

It depends on how much you reinforce it, and then it's a cost/time period. So the longer you hold it the more it costs. I really don't know how much that is though.
