So tonight (after the horror called work :() i will roll a toon, thats when updating and downloading doesn't take too long.

And i would like to ask some players the importance and rules of the crafting and gathering skills.
How much of these skills you can take? Are skills beter for upgrading or using or are you better of making money with these skills?

What i'm trying to ask is: Is money important (like in WoW) in the game? if yes, which skill will make you the most?

I've not yet had to farm for cash. It rolls in through the normal course of playing.

I've been crafting - not something I normally do in the MMO's that I play. I lack patience. This crafting is pretty uninvolved and I make useful talismans that I can turn around and use right off.

I scavenge - which is simply a second looting of any humanoid type corpes. This yields me some of the materials to make talismans. The other supplies you can buy off local merchants.

My alt toon is harvesting. he grows materials that he then uses to make potions (alchemy). Again, the supplies are readily available. Right off I've been able to make stuff I can use and it's a good way to kill those 3 or 4 minutes waiting for scenario ques.

Cultivating - buy lvl 1 seeds from npc merchant, and grow them into plants and higher lvl seeds for apothicary
Butchery - harvesting animal mobs after combat for apothicary, has alot of the same as cultivating + a couple others
Apothicary - creating potions (healing, healing over time, action, int, will, etc)

Scavenging - harvest npc/players after combat for talisman items
Salvaging - breaking down items to turn into talisman suplies
Talisman - creating timed and perm jems to socket into weapons/armor

each chr can take 1 secondary (cultivating/scavenging) and 1 primary (apoth/tali)

max level atm is 200 for each skill, but with the supplies in the guild hall you can make pots that give +25 for 30 min that will take you above 200, although i havent noticed any benefit of being over 200, well other then not having to fail at 199 :)
