I am asking about this I do not know how much fact is involved in this so please correct me if I am wrong.
Today Blizzard is releasing a patch for WOW that pretty much includes all of the unique features that War had over WOW.. >.>

yeah a buddy of mine had that to say to me when I asked him if he had played war at all over the weekend. He said basically "Why bother?"

Then he showed me the patch update info..
Then he showed me that me and my wife using using a special recruitment system we can gain tripple xp on quests and everything all the way up to level 60 + special free level 20 mounts ... wtf and also I can summon her to my location at any time..

Ok ..
Looks like Blizzard is breaking out the big guns now..

My question is . Going over the patch notes. Its not really possible that WOW can really have ALL of the features that War.. I mean I checked out the level 40 PVP areas outside of the main city and some of those keeps look like they can hold hundreds of people.

WOW wont have anything like that will it... >.>...

I've played in the WotLK beta, and honestly, while some features that WAR has will now be in WoW, it's just not the same thing. WoW will never be WAR, WAR is a different game based on a different playstyle.

I honestly dont think WoW can even pull off the epic "PvP feel" that WAR has in the 8 levels ive played.

If i had to guess i'd say WoW's gonna remain a pve first, pvp second game.

That said, i really have no idea what WoW is bringing in for the expansion.

WoW and War has two distinct feels to the game. In my opinion WoW is at heart suppose to pvp, but is PvE with elements of PvP. Where War is PVP with Elements of PvE, the core rule set is unique and it’s nice to see RvR in a controlled environment. Where you know you are not going to get Ganked anywhere except RvR zones.
In WoW you have to spend time sitting in the queue waiting for the Battlegrounds. Where if you played the good guys you lose 19 out of 20, and then hear whining about how unbalanced the Horde is. War, you can queue anywhere, which means you can continue questing while waiting for the queue to pop. You also get put back exactly where you leave to join RvR instance. So far, in most cases its 50/50 split in Destro Vs Order.

While we get some whiners, while playing for the most parts games are often one sided. However I have had some close games, last night temple was 500 to 498, Destro. Those I don’t mind losing. Through the one negative impact I would give is the range in Scenario based RvR. Even through you get boosted up to level 8 in Tier 1, usually the rank 10 and 11 rule and I have noticed some whining about lower levels joining in.

My thoughts on that, they pay their money, let them play. They are going to die and die a lot for 5 or 6 levels, but they will improve and get better gear. Just remember they will be level 12 in Tier 2 going against 21’s so those whiners should just suck it back.
