WAR is here and has brought with it many brave adventurers who seek to make their mark on the world around them. The Age of Reckoning is at hand and the gods of Order and Destruction summon you to their call!

Great rewards await those who take up their charge and help to bolster their army's strengths where it's needed the most.

We are pleased to introduce Realm Population Bonuses. These bonuses are temporary boosts to help new players get into the game and strengthen their allies’ efforts on servers where their realm struggles to keep up with the growing armies of their enemy.

For one week, these chosen servers will bestow divine gifts upon the designated realm to help swell their ranks and give them the power to try and turn the tides of battle. Players who join the vanguard will receive a 20% bonus to renown and experience!

Current Realm Population Bonuses (UPDATED!)

Server, Realm, Type, Expires

* Magnus, Order, Core, 17-Oct-08
* Wasteland, Order, Core, 17-Oct-08
* Drakwald, Order, Core, 17-Oct-08
* Gorfang, Order, Core, 17-Oct-08
* Ulthuan, Order, Core, 17-Oct-08
* Ungrim, Order, Core, 17-Oct-08

* Bechafen, Order, Open RvR, 17-Oct-08

The information above is also available in game via the Server Select screen. Servers with Realm Population bonuses will have an icon next to them with Blue representing Order and Red representing Destruction.

A bonus to exp for the Order is just going to make queue's for Destruction worse at lower levels.

What an odd boon.

I don't see how you figure it will lengthen queue times for dest. If there are more order players signing up for scenarios, then they will pop more often and more dest will get in sooner.

He meant just the lower levels, they new order players will level to quickly and leave the Q's barren.

Correct.

With a 1/5th bonus AND near instant queues Tier's 1 and 2 can be played though quite quickly.

It's an interesting problem and I certainly don't have the answers to it. But there certainly a lot of questions.

Well, at least one of the questions is answered.

Order had a bigger queue than we did tonight. Apparently 20% is enough to at least get people to try it out.

Yea I noticed that as well Baelnic. We still have to see how long it will sustain, but it seems mythic found a good solution! I'm more tempted to play on bech now that it's more balanced.

I also noticed higher que times for order on Ulthuan... and suddenly it was like playing WoW again because order lost every single scenario I was in. Probably just a run of bad luck on my part. Unless all the destro players rerolled order to infiltrate our ranks and corrupt us from the inside!!

Why are core servers disproportionally unbalanced? I guess it was that way in WoW too, but I never got that either.
