It's driving me nuts. I hate showing my helm. It looks like a head scarf or something because I'm a shammie. I hide it, ten minutes later it's there. I have to keep clicking and unclicking the box. Anyone else have this issue? Anyone have any way of making it stay hidden?
Unfortunately, this seems to be a problem with anything you hide, most common with the nasty white bath-towels we laughingly call cloaks. Anytime you cross a server, fly, join a scenario, etc, the armor bit you had turned off turns right back on. Mythic knows about the issue but they have given us no word as to when they will fix it. Soon, hopefully, cause it is indeed very annoying.
It could be worse for your little Shaman though. I saw a Shadow Warrior the other day who had insane hair clipping issues such as I didn't think this game had (not having run into hair clipping thru a helm before in WAR).

There is an addon (StickyGear) that will remember your settings when you zone etc.
It's funny, the game needs add ons to do things the game should do.. the developers cannot do it, but some yahoo in cyberspace can? So add this to the other billion things on the games glitch list.. they'll get to it, or fail at developing a good game.

In due time magilsoro. It's great that mythic allows players to improve things then they can take those improvements and implement them into the game itself. Just think of blizzards default UI and then all the stuff they've added over the years from various addons.
Thanks for the addon suggestion. On my shaman I HATE wearing my cape in scenarios (any other non-pvp time is ok with me) because I see it is nothing but a big bulls-eye on my back. I dye all my armor green for a reason, I like blending in, but that big white cape kind of defeats the purpose.
