Modern games have been getting easier to play partly because they are simpler in mechanics and learning curve, but also because of some things that automatically do a task for you for "convenience" sake. Unfortunately, some of these are sometimes down-right annoying.
For example, in WAR your character will automatically turn around when spells or other targeting elements are cast on creatures that are in your 3rd person perspective viewing angle. How is this feature necessary or needed when I'm in that viewing mode? Usually I am turned around for a reason. I feel a "turn-off automatic face-me mode" button is needed.
Some skills, spells and other combat elements require you or your opponent to be facing a certain way. This kind of auto-turning can seriously disrupt RvR gameplay as well. A quick little targeting of someone to get them off your back while you focus on something more important at another angle and suddenly your view is turned around.
This all brings me to UI Customization features. There are some great features already built into the game, but also being tweaked and developed through 3rd party sources, such as our own http://war.mmoui.com/ website. What we need more of are ways to turn on and off existing features in the game, so I can turn my back to those players I don't want to, well, face.
