Where exactly do I install the WARReader? WAR\Interface\addons\WARReader like all my other addons or at WAR\user\interface\AllCharacters\WARReader ?
In either case I can't find a SavedVariables.lua and neither WARReader displays anything anytime. The window just stays blank. And yes, Warhammer Path points to the right directory in both cases.

The install program should install everything were it needs to go.

Alright, then how do I check if it's working correctly? I don't have any information inside the WarReader window, nor do I have a SavedVariables.lua in the directory. The items I've found while running WarReader don't get added to the database either.

I have been having the same issue for about two weeks. Was hoping someone would post and it get cleared up. But I see now I should have posted day one. I get this error 100% of the time. Be it when firing up WarReader, or shutting down WAR.

It does not do its upload due to this error:
The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error.

We'll get this taken care of as soon as possible. Thanks a lot for bringing it to our attention!

Same error still happening. that
Begone!
message is confusing, but my info is NOT uploading. Any update on a fix? I have been running this tool for almost a month, and its never uploaded. Should I bother to run it?

I am still not uploading any info from WarReader. I reinstalled the program after totally uninstalling the old one. Every time I run the app, the window is empty. It shows no dates, no files, no uploaded, no nothing. I even kept the window open during play, and alt+tabbed to see if any files were created, and no. I alt+tabbed out while logging out, and the window is empty.

SO, I am not uploading any info. I installed and let the program install itself with no alterations, and my user name and password are correct.

What is going wrong?

Yup i'm basically getting nothing on the display window for WarReader. Here is the locations for my install and relevant files. If you need anything else let me know.

WarReader : C:\WarReader

WarHammer Online: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Warhammer Online - Age of Reckoning

Interface folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Warhammer Online - Age of Reckoning\Interface\AddOns\WarReader

Characters Info: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Warhammer Online - Age of Reckoning\user\settings\Skull Throne\BooBoo\BooBoo\WarReader ** This is where the SavedVariables.lua is stored**

Vista Ultimate 64-Bit

** UPDATE ** I've now installed it on 3 seperate computers with the same issue on each one so far.

I would give up. My post about this issue from April 10th has not received an answer. My conclusion is that they have abandoned the WarReader project altogether.

I uninstalled it weeks ago because of the lack of support. I keep checking back to see if they fix it, but no responses for two months kind of answers that question, ya think?

So any updates to this? I just installed WarReader and I saw it patch itself when I first run it, but then nothing. The process is running, but nothing is coming up at all. No window or anything so if it wasn't for the process list I wouldn't even know it was running. I'm on Vista x64 Ultimate and I have Warhammer installed at C:\WarhammerOnline_Beta

Anything I need to do? Thanks.

These problems are proving very tricky to track down. We do have people working on it, and we are getting WAR Reader reports from many of our users. I just want to thank everyone for continuing to support us. We're trying to get WAR Reader working for everyone, as soon as possible.

Just wanted to add that I have similar problem - nothing shows in the WarReader folder, while I can see SavedVariables.lua in a directory %warhammer%\user\settings\%server%\%character_name%\%character_name%\WarReader. I have two characters on this server and some on the other servers.

I've noticed that in add-on management window WarReader is described as Loaded(!) with exclamation mark, so loaded with errors. Dunno what to do with this. Does Curse Profiler mess with WarReader?

My addons, for completeness:
BagOMatic
CaVES
Curse Profiler
DAoCBuff
JunkDump
LibSlash
LootWatch
NAMBLA
nRarity
Squared
SquaredHealBot
Woody's DPS Lib

I have installed WarReader, I have the same trouble that has been commented on before in this thread, that WR is running but nothing is coming up in the box.

I've linked it to the WAR.exe in my Warhammer folder but - When i try to run Warhammer through WAR.exe, an error comes up telling me that i have to use Warpatch.exe

the problem may be that becoz I can't use WAR.exe to run Warhammer online and am unable to select the Warpatch.exe as the Warhammer path in the settings it just isn't working

this seems to be the logical explaination as to why my WarReader isn't working

Iunno if there is a fix to this prob but it might be a bit of a help...
