Let's start by saying the class I've been saying for years that I would play, I despise (Shaman). And the race I said I'd never try because they suck (Chaos) is very awesome!!!

So far I'm going to go Zealot and Chosen (or Black Orc...need to level one of those guys). We've got a RL group of 10 people who will be in open beta, and about 4 more joining us down the road (kids and Madden '08 are apparently taking precedence!).

It's been.....the greatest MMO I've ever played. And it's not even launched yet. Don't get me wrong, it has its issues!!! But it's still a fun and exciting game.

Mythic, you've done an awesome job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PvP - PvP is absolutely amazing!! The battles are fun, fast paced, can be balanced (see note below), and truly, make me want to do nothing but PvP all day long! Going in with at least 2 or 3 other people you know can truly make the difference.

PvP also absolutely sucks!! (ha ha) If you get stuck in a queue with one tank, one healer and a bunch of caster DPS, you're going to lose. Also, if you go up against 2 guild groups - you're going to lose. There's not much you can do about it, and the scenario is not fun. Period.

Questing Questing is, so far, fun and exciting, the lore is incredible, the areas are themed well (dark elves seem to be lacking compared to the others, but that could be just my view on it).

Tome of Knowledge Tome of Knowledge is a fun look into the world, but it's going to need some work for user interaction to make it complete. But it can be hard to negotiate! Figuring out titles and such is just to many clicks, and there's no links from one area you're reading to the other areas the tome refers to.

Bugs - The game is still really buggy, but I've been bugging and feedbacking like crazy, and I hope you are too. Everything from armor comparison (like Ty's post points out), mobs being unattackable, PQ scoreboards being totally fubar'd. Yes, this is still beta, so I'm hoping for some really great, hard, work from Mythic. Everyone knows no game is ever perfect, but hopefully the core game play they've been raving about (PQ's) for years, works at launch!

Scenarios: My biggest issue with scenarios is that if I'm not running them with friends/known quantities, it's like playing a BG in WoW. There's no communication/assistance/realm pride. Everyone seems out for themselves. If you can get some good folks though - talk about a serious kick butt enjoyable ride!! Even if you lose! =)

Khaine's Embrace is my most favorite ever! EVER! *sticks her tongue out at Ty* There's nothing like taunting folks into the oncoming firey evil that is coming, when I know I can make them die and still get to safety!

Gates of Eckrund: I'd rather die then run this scenario anymore. My honey loves it, but I truly can't stand it.

Nordwatch: Really fun, again, if you can get a few people into your group that is going to stay together.

The questionable:

Will the game launch with no item linking in chat?! That would be utterly ridiculous!

Is there any way to stop the health bars from blacking out!?!?!?! The healthbar on/off/hurt options are for the over the head bars. As a healer - this is unforgivable! I'm going to lean on MMOUI's community really hard to get me what I need, because it simply sucks!!!

Scenario queue's are entirely too freakin' long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We can run 4 Nordwatch's in the time it takes to get Khaine's Embrace!

Will destruction over-populate on every server, as seems to be the belief? I'll have to switch to order if so, and that will break my heart!

[Edit: Forgot my biggest pet peeve so far is not having the class icon lists in the scenario scoreboard have mouse overs for the stupid class types!!!! ARGH!]

I found the interface very difficult to deal with when playing a healer. I am really hoping there will be something that allows you to tab through FRIENDLY targets to heal or otherwise indicates proximity or some sort of "raid windows" type thing. I was having to manually click on players in the battlefield in order to heal them. Utterly ridiculous. I wonder if I am missing something there?

That would be epic." -Xlemage

left ctrl and tab cycles friendlies, tab cycles enemies iirc.

There's a few goodies under the key bindings.

I agree on the health bar fade out. Tovin, what makes you despise shaman (curious as this is the one class I have gotten into so far)?

Ya know, I really don't think it's anything as far as the class itself. I just think it's not fun for my style of play. It doesn't seem to be broken, fubar'd or anything like that. I've just found other classes way more fun.

Glad you're enjoying it, the game is a BLAST!!!!!!!!!!!!
