I'm wondering what is your reasoning to get on WAR ASAP?
To kick major butt?
To be the first to get the highest rank?
To Be the first to get the best gear?
Or simply too have fun!!! Which can coincide with the first one, Kick some major butt!!
I'm gonna go ahead and say too have fun, but I do like to try and compete a little bit.
It wont break my heart if I'm not the first to accomplish something which I'm sure I wont but
I like to try :)

I wanted to hurry up and get online to have as much time as possible to have fun and try out different things during the open beta.
I don't need to be first.

The Open beta for me is just another way for me to try out the classes while still giving feedback/bug reports.
Being "first" on an Open beta is moot, IMO.
Being one of the people who get to start the actual game (Head Start) is where it's at, but I dont have a "I will be a higher level than others" attitude...
I want to play the actual live game and get a jump on others for one reason... I want my names.
I will jump on and try to get name holders for my characters for each realm I will be playing on. I will have a Destruction realm and an Order realm...

Amen on each of these notes! For me, it was about seeing how the game played, what needed to be bugged/feedbacked, figuring out which class to play, then stopping play so there was lots of excitement on launch day (head start for me).
I played other classes and leveled only via PvP, which was a blast, and I'm hoping to do with at least one of my chars!
My names are very important to me. I've spent 3 months coming up with the perfect names, I don't want to lose them!
I just want to play, really.

Names is one reason, but one of the main reasons is I want to play a new MMO since I've become really bored with WoW.
