Hello there. Has anyone actually pre-ordered a standard edition including open beta access and live game headstart etc from one of the premium partners, EA Store?

If you have then i would like to know how long it took you to recieve the e-mail including the codes.

Cheers.

I ordered mine from EA store on sunday the 31st August. Got my confirmation e-mails but no codes. Had read through tons of forums where people have cancelled and bought straight off direct2drive.co.uk because they recieve their codes instantly.

Well it's only been a few days and i'm positive that a company as prestigious as EA won't F*** their customers around and i'll get my codes soon. So will anybody else who bought it from there.

However it would have put my mind to rest if they just send the codes out as soon as you finish making the payment...

Anyway it's all about playing the waiting game now.

lol. I'll keep those who have pre-ordered from the EA store updated.

So far i've just recieved an e-mail stating the following...

Good News!

As you may have noticed, EA Store UK are now offering Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning at £34.99 instead of £39.99. We are aware that you have currently pre-ordered at a higher price – but don’t worry you will be charged at £34.99.

For more information on Warhammer Online please visit the website: www.war-europe.com

If you have any questions, please contact customer services

That's good but where are my codes?
I'm not sure if that's just a way for them to compensate for something i don't know about yet, like not recieving codes before the 7th... I will refrain from jumping to conclusions even though my mind urges me to.

To be continued...

My advice is that if you don't receive the codes by around the 7th, to e-mail them and inquire about it.

My friend pre-ordered both of our games from Gamestop online and neglected to receive the codes from them for several months (until just barely before CE closed beta began). I was reading on another forum about people receiving their codes and such almost immediately, and yet we hadn't gotten ours. I had him e-mail them to ask after it (since he was content to just sit and wait, but I was antsy).

It ended up the store misspelled his e-mail address and had to re-send the codes.

The time is 20:11pm in London UK and i have just recieved my open beta code through e-mail from the EA store. I am absolutely delighted and i rest my case.

I presume anyone who pre-ordered directly from the EA store are slowly but surely starting to recieve their codes.

I wish you all the best of luck!
