So the other day i paid off my visa bill(mostly cause i get paranoid when more then 500 bucks is on it, i've been known to go drinking and blow most of a pay check). As i check the details i noticed the ea store DID NOT charge my visa, yet i've recieved my beta codes.
Now i'm sure everything is fine and dandy, and i'm sure i'll get charged eventually for the game. But what strikes me as odd is that they didn't take the money and do what ebgames and other stores do with preorder money, invest it and collect millions in interest. Seeing as ea is a money grubbing company i'm just surprised they didn't do it. Unless they decided to delay the charge for over a week /shrug
But hey if i get the game for free i won't complain :p

You'd think it would be processed if they gave you the codes though, but i guess i assumed too much.
And most companies are out for profit, but ea takes it to a new level, the new battlefield games are proof :p

if your talking about bad company and the whole pay for weapons thing, i think they changed that already.
giving the codes out before full payment makes sense, if you preorder it in a store you dont have to pay the whole thing till ypu pick it up, and the open beta code would be kinda useless at that point.
now if it was a physical bonus, then that would make no sense at all
