Ppl still playing this game???Follow

I played this game back in beta, then for 5 years off and on. I did what everyone else did, played WoW, Warhammer, and Aion. All the games were fun but I always compared the pvp to DAoC, and they never compared in comparison. So my question is, are ppl still playing? I love doing BGs, especially Thid. Is it worth my time and money to reopen my account to kill ppl? I miss this game terribly, but I dont want to open my account and run around in BGs and never see anyone. I played on Pell, Lancelot and Bors. Please give me some feed back.

I just resubbed and working on the free 10days that they offer, so far it is great, lots of people on the new Ywain cluster, reminds me of the old days of daoc years ago.

You will want to transfer your characters off the old servers for free and put them on a Ywain server.

Can you transfer all your toons over?

Dark age of camelot is still alive and kicking! yes, we have a much smaller population than we once had, but the game is still going strong! There have been many changes to the game over the years, the biggest one yet is the new Ywain servers (10 of them) recently created and clustered together to make one big, big server, where everyone has been move to, so that they could close down the old servers and migrate everything over to newer updated computer systems to keep the game alive and kicking. DAoC still has one of the best RVR systems around, which keeps peolpe coming back to experience it again and again.

If you find yourself, re-opening old accounts, you have the opportunity to transfer your old toons to the ywain servers and get caught up in the action once more. DAoC, has reduced the size of the different servers down to 3 main ones, Gaheris (for all realm pve excitement, good place to get to know the different toons from all the realms) Mordred (the player vs player server, where it's kill or be killed, nonstop action) or the Ywain Servers with the ToA expansions (no more classic, roleplaying or other clustered servers, anymore)

In my humble opinion, I still think it's worth checking out, even for just a little while. Who knows, you might like what you see and stick around a little longer, but in the end, only you can answer that question (about is it worth it?) I think it is...come back and find out for yourself!

I just started about three weeks ago. (The two-week free trial got me good and hooked, though I'm the type who swore I'd never pay for an MMO. :P )

It's a great game. No lack of other players.
