How do locations work?Follow

When you enter a /loc command, it displays two big numbers. What do they refer to? I assume they're similar to latitude and longitude, but I can't find any explanation anywhere. For example:

If I'm looking for 25k, 38k and the /loc reading is 22k, 47k, which directions do I go (NSEW) to reach the spot I need?

the map is 65000 by 65000

The first number is East West. 0 being the left (west)
The second number is North South. 0 being the top (north)

So 0, 0 is the upper left corner
32000, 32000 is close to center

0, 65000 is Lower left corner

etc.

One thing I found to be handy is the /faceloc macro.

/macro faceloc /faceloc xxx, xxx

Replace xxx, xxx with your coordinates. put macro on bar and every so often, hit the button. It will face you in that direction and once you pass the spot, when you hit the button, it will about face ya.
