I've been playing various mmos for the past few years and now I've decided to give DAoC a try.
I'm downloading the trial right now and wondering if there is anyone that would be willing to buddy up with me? I hate playing new games and not knowing anyone, and I know most people hate talking to newbs--
I'm just looking for someone to talk to and answer any questions i might have- not a PLer or someone to leech money from. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help ^^. Please give me ur toons name and server so I know where to join ;). Thanks again!

First off... play on the Classic servers. There is actually a large number of folks levelling up from scratch on any given day.
Secondly... DAOC starts you in a "newby" guild. You can ask questions and find groups fairly easily.
Thirdly... spill the blood of your enemies. Lots. Levelling up is fastest in the Battlegrounds, but if you're starting new - don't ignore the quests. They're well-written and give a lot of flavor to the world.
Fourthly... um. Welcome? :)
