New Player, some questionsFollow

Hi Folks,

I played DAoC when it first came out. I stopped shortly after and played every now and then up until Shrouded Isle came out. I just recently quit EQ and would like to get back into DAoC. My Question is will it be easy to start over as a Newb in DAoC? Are there plenty of low level characters to group with? Also I'm curious if the game has just been out so long that it would be near impossible for me to get up in level and compete against other players in RvR and such. At the moment i have all the expansions except for ToA and Catacombs, is this good enough to get me started until Christmas when i'll most likely get the other 2 expansions? Also if it will be hard to find a group is it hard to solo? Thanks for the information, this will most likely make or break my final decision to play DAoC. I guess my main concern is will I be starting to late in the game now that it has been out for so long. Thanks :)

I don't know how to answer since everyones experience is different, you meet different people, play on other servers....
I love this game. With Cat just out there are a bunch of new low lvl characters playing they game. Will it be easy, I don't know. Will it be fun, I have always thought so. Right now lots of people are trying new games. It might be a good time to jump in and play catch up. While others are off in WOW you could be creating a uber toon destened to take over the world. I play on Igraine, hib. If you are so inclined look up Brick or the Buffybott.

it'll be a little tricky in the beginning, but i won't say it's impossible or too hard. if you go to one of the more populated servers you'll find people to group with, and lvl 20+ it'll only get easier to group with people. and soloing in DAoC i've always felt to be much easier than in EQ. RvR maybe a bit tough after just coming back, but as long as you get ToA, it's not impossible, in housing areas you can find good ToA items for really cheap that can last you for a good long time, i won't lie, it won't be easy, especially with RvR, but given time you should be alright, especially when you find some buddies to roam with =)
