Hello all, I am a relatively new player and am considering switching from alb to hib. I want to start a friar like class, and am considering mostly either a warden or valewalker. which is more efficient for soloing exclusively, keeping in mind that I am looking to minimize downtime. basically, I know that both can take ojs, but which would be faster at leveling solo.

I dont know alot about VW but I do know a few things about the races of Vws and Ill summarize them right here.

Sylvan

Pro
  • Scythes hit very hard because of high base strength
  • The DDs hurt alot due to high base Intellegence

    • Con
  • Hits slower than celt
  • Misses a bit more than celt in some cases
  • Doesn't have the higher parrying oppurtunity as celt

    • Celt

    Pro
  • Scythes hit hard (not as hard as sylvan)
  • Well rounded stats
  • Hits fast
  • Parries often

    • Con

  • Not as strong as Sylvan, may cause problems in fights
  • Doesnt do as much damage as firbolg
  • Spells dont do as much damage as sylvan

    • Firbolg

    Pro
  • Strength is astronomical
  • Intellegence is average

    • Con
  • Misses alot more than celt or sylvan
  • An easy target in RvR
  • Hits slower
  • Points in Parry are sometimes wasted due to low dex

    It really all depends on your playing style, no race is better than the other when you play them right

    here are Pros and cons for the Valewalker Class

    Valewalker

    Pro
  • Scythes are one of the most damaging weapons in the game
  • Unlike Friar VWs have Lifetap DD to use for longer range taunts and lower downtime
  • Great self-buffs

    • Con
  • Cloth Wearers O.o
  • DDs arent powerful enough to use as main attack in RvR
  • You will be an easy target for stealthers

    • Like I said earlier it all depends on your playing style Valewalkers are a very fun class and you will love them.
    If anyone says VWs suck in RvR theyre not playing them right
