How can you tell what items can be enchanted and what cannot? I tried to have a piece enchanted last night and they kept giving it back saying the couldnt do it? /boggle

I suppose you're talking about handing items to one of the enchanter NPCs? Your items have to be made of at least Tier 3 materials. Each material has 10 tiers. (e.g., metals are: Bronze, Iron, Steel, Alloy, Fine Alloy, Mithril, Adamantium, Asterite, Netherium and Arcanium).

All the Level 3 materials are: Steel, Quartz, Cured, Oak, Brocade and Vine. Note: all materials are not used in all realms.
