I'm sort of stuck, try as I might I have been completely unable to find a party for Bastok's 2-3 quest on Carbuncle, specifically the Dragon portion in Windurst. Someone please tell me there's a better way to find a party than to beg for one with Shouts?

Is that the fight against the ahriman who summons a dragon? If so, the fight is ridiculously easy. I've beaten it solo on Samurai using 2-hour.

Honestly if you didn't get a reply on the Carbuncle server forum, it's unlikely you'll get one here. The best place to look is either your server forum or in-game. Sorry to hear that you're not having much luck, but hopefully you have at least one or two friends who can help you with this. You don't need 6 by any means.
