NPCs who help beginners start? :: World of Warcraft

Hey, I've spent the last 7 years dreaming of getting this game and now I've finally gotten it. I started off with a character in Bastok but I was using an elvaan and to be honest, that place wasn't the best place to start for an elvaan I realised. so I started again in san d'oria. in bastok there's someone in bastok market, next to the entrance to south gustaberg who gives you tasks that help you level up as well as giving you items. is there anyone like that in san d'oria?
