I read that you need to be level 61 to get full exp and there is a break down on what percentage you get if you are lower.

My highest level job is 54. Is it possible for me to participate solo?

Even though the calculating exp is outdated heres a general idea of what exp you'll get by level ranges here.

Thanks. I read something like that. But, what I want to know is can someone at level 54 survive playing solo? If I sign up for battle, will I be teleported to somewhere where the fiends are level 80?

In besieged, I can stay on the side lines and cure people, but I can't really engage in battle or I'd get KOd in 1 shot.

if the fiends you mean mobs that argo theres really none of that unless you go too far in xarc s. Most mobs can be avoided by sneak and invis aoes might hurt more but you should be able to cure/raise for like 600ish per battle. Campaign leaders hurt more than others like shadowhand sleepga thunderga3 or aoe ws battle dances from orcs.

So, it sounds like I can some how avoid facing off against individual fiends solo that are much higher level than me. Is that the case?

I'd recommend doing a search of each zone where battles are taking place and going to where there are 20+ people fighting, if possible. That way you can join the zerg and avoid having to tank mobs yourself, which will probably be fatal at your level.

You will be much, much better off doing FoV until 61+ if you're looking for good exp/hr. The exp on a melee 1 level under the full exp cap is just that bad, and at 54, I expect you'd have a harder time hitting too.

I recently leveled my WAR from 50-70 and can agree with most of the above posters. At level 54, you CAN survive, but you'll be reliant on others for tanking and pulling mobs for you. Sometimes, however, people will dump mobs because they think you are "nerfing their exp" by hitting the mob. This will suck at 54, because you will die, and very quickly.

If you insist on Campaigning (either for AN or Rank up), ask a buddy who can tank the mobs to come with.

FoV will be MUCH faster exp/hr. Even after 60, there are FoV pages that are faster. Additionally, you can skill up (slightly) on FoV which you cannot in Campaign.

I'd suggest doing at least a few Campaign Battles for the experience, they are good fun.

As a RDM you should be ok on the survivability front. Your best bet is to stay fairly central, or stick with a group of people, so you don't end up on your own and attracting the attention of a stray mob. Fight only normal mobs, not NMs! I think Quadav have the least AoE moves, so Bastok zones might be best for you.

If you cure/haste the people around you, and raise those who fall, people will probably look after you in return. You'll likely get most of your exp through casting at level 54, since your melee accuracy probably won't be that great unless you have a lot of acc gear.

Okay. I made some attempt to do this... I saw there are many people in east sarutabaruta (s). So, I wandered around for a while and didn't find anyone. Is that how it works?

I should elaborate. I got marks from the npc, and there is a sword next to my name. Should I then shout asking where people are? Or, am I missing something? There were many yagudo's attacking the fortress, which I imagine would have quickly killed me if I engaged them.

I don't really know what was going on there, before I quit there were usually large numbers of people at most battles, at least during peak times.

Perhaps the people in Saruta were there for something else (are there new NMs in that zone?). All I can suggest is to try again, perhaps a different zone. Meriphataud certainly always used to be packed.

Thank you. I'm not sure what happened either. Before, I had no notes to teleport with, so I walked to the fort and then didn't see anyone. Since then I did a few quests to get notes and teleported. This time, when I went to the fort, there were others there.

More confusion... So, I successfully participated in battle I guess. I had the sword icon next to my name. When the battle ended, I went to the C.A. and my options are teleportation or information about campaign. So, I didn't get any exp for my battle. Is there something different that I need to do?

Today, I looked for where there were people, went there and the battle ended before I reached the fort. I did that again and the battle ended before I reached the fort. Am I just supposed to be lucky, or am I supposed to hang out in windurst (s) until a battle starts, then teleport there? Or, is there some other way to know when to go?

The best overall way to make EXP in CB is by doing and taking a lot of damage. At that low of a level, you won't be doing much damage... although you will be taking a lot of damage... and usually die in the process...

Watch dispatch messages in town.

Beastmen getting dispatched to an allied zone = CB will start there in 10 minutes, if there isn't already a CB in progress. If there is one, it just means the CB will continue on.

I want to have at least three people (but a full group of four would be the best) who can play legendary campaign almost all day. I'm hoping to get at least 5 levels done, and then finish the rest on another day.
