i looked at info on wiki and on here but was unable to find out a few things i remember how the regular ws latent weapons worked having to do ws on mobs easy prey or higher is this the same for unlocking the mythic ws? also is it possable to gain points on it while doing besiege or campaign?

Rules are the same as the regular wsnm weapons, it has to be a mob that gives xp and besieged/campaign battles will count toward your total.

I dont have anything constructive to add, but instead of starting a new thread hoping I can get my question answered here. If you have more then 1 weapon you want to unlock can you do 2 at a time or just 1 like with quested WS's.

Yeah, you can work on multiple Nyzul weapons at the same time. Just make sure to flag them with the Blue Mage NPC in Jeuno; you'll see both quests open at once if you do it right.

Didn't know this. Is this right about the campaign mobs? I knew about the beseiged part but didnt expect it to work on campaign mobs. After the update you no longer get skill ups w/out tags, but do you still get WS points on stuff like Nyzul weapons and others like for example Destroyers with or without tags?


Sorry if im repeating the question but i noticed that reply post was done on the 5th and we are "post-campaign update" now so i was wondering if it still applied. Any info would be appreciated (especially since people on my server dont do skill up pt's much these days ; ;)

According to ffxiclopedia besieged and campaign does not give any weaponskill points.

Yeah you cannot gain ws points during besieged or campaign. Also latest update they also took off the no tags skill up thing. So back to the old days skill up parties or luckily get a couple skill up points while besieged is going on. Also do not forget to talk to the blue mage npc(Zalsuhm) in lower jeuno before starting ur points for your mythic weapon. Have it equipped when talking to him to flag the quest.
