Unlocking a MythFollow

There is no way we could tell you how many points you'd need without knowing what floor you have completed to in Nyzul Isle. Even then, it is believed that the guy gives you messages based on what percentage of points you're at on the way to unlocking the WS, and I'm not sure those percentages have even been figured out yet.

So yeah. Instead of bothering with that NPC, just keep working on it... you don't even have to check with him to know when you're done, because once you've gotten enough points the new WS will show up immediately in your WS list (but only while the Nyzul weapon is main-handed). When you need thousands of WS points, the messages the NPC gives you are too vague to be very helpful at all.

Or just get that Runic Key...

I made this chart a few months back. It tells you how many WS points you need based on the floor saved on your disc. The main page shows in 5 floor increments while the 2nd page shows a floor by floor point spread.

At floor 40, you need 3500 WS points to unlock.

As far as the message is concerned, no one really knows what % triggers what message. I know from previous experience from unlocking six weapons at various WS points that you don't get the "bursting Forth" message until the final 5% or so.
